To discover these weapons, I would be taking you through the Tafseer of ayah 45 in surah Al-baqara, and would insha Allah make this short and straight to the point.
And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah ] {Quran 2:45}
Sabr(patience) and Salah(prayer) are those two weapons that never miss their mark. They are weapons you should hold on to if you wish to attract Allah’s help in your life.
Sabr:
Basically means patience, but has a much deeper meaning than that. And it’s of three types:
- Being patient during times of difficulty.
- Being patient by staying steadfast on the Shari’ah.
- Being patient by staying away from sins: fighting all those temptation of wanting to engage in sin, even when everyone around you is involved in it.
Sabr isn’t easy, but you need to learn to be patient in all situation you find yourself, complaining about your problems to others won’t help you in anyway, it’s time to see and accept your difficulty as a test and a gift from Allah, Allah is giving you an opportunity to engage in Sabr. And you go against Sabr when you start Marketing your difficulty/problems to others.
Salah:
Is one of the pillars of Islam, where a Muslim communicates with Allah, it draws a line of dichotomy between a believer and an unbeliever.
I urge us to read and seek vast knowledge about Salah and it’s impotance, then strive to perfect your Salah.
Hint: Perform Salah with khushoo, keeping in mind that, we would be standing in front of Allah on the day of judgment answerable to the way we lived our lives in this dunya.
Alhamdulillah! I’ve been able to make this as short as possible, please if you have questions feel free to drop them in the comment box, or send me a mail.
Jazakumullah khairan. May Allah keep us steadfast on the Deen. Ameen
