Again, this is not a get-rich quick scheme. But what I want to share with you in this article is more like doing a work once and getting paid for it over and over again, it really isn’t complicated or as difficult as it sounds, and besides Technology has made it so easy to create information products and sell them, with all the software at easy reach.

Who is this article for?

If you are a person who enjoys writing or sharing knowledge with others, or if you’re an introvert: someone who wants to earn money without having so much physical interaction with people. Then this article is for you, it’s all about creating contents and selling them online.

Creating Content

I’m sure you know that we live in the information age, and this means that content is Information and interestingly, people are willing to pay for it! and the truth is that nothing else matters ( Affiliate marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization marketing, sales, social media etc.) without having content.

There is so much content out there, but if you want to be outstanding in establishing your expertise and connecting with your target audience, you’ll have to give people what they want in an appealing style. Your content must be relevant,and to make your content relevant to your audience, you need to know that people won’t bother with information unless they see a good reason to, or unless they are shown why it is important, and they want detailed information that tells them exactly what they need to know and  how to put this information into action in a way that they use it to make a difference in their life.

So, choose the right  heading and introduction for your content/product, as this will hook people and pull them in because they will see the value in it. Create a type of content/product that shows people how to achieve something or overcome some obstacle or challenge they have, something that helps them in any aspect of their lives.

What I love about creating content products is that you create them once and then they can earn you money for years to come, the concept of working once and getting paid over and over again.  Physical products have higher profit margins, but I prefer digital products because there are no production or shipping costs.

Your product can be in any formats such as:

• eBooks
• Online Courses/workshops
• Images
• Audio and video courses
• Webinars
• Membership sites and many more..

 

All you need to do is decide if you want to create a written product such eBooks, manuals etc. , or you want to create an audio product such as mp3, CD, streaming audio, or a video product such as DVD, streaming video, downloadable video, Or you may choose to create a product that has a combination of all  the three formats.

Selling Content

Creating contents isn’t enough, marketing your contents to get your word out is also important. Even if you create great content, it will be useless if no one get’s to see them. So, use online marketing strategies to market your product and get people to buy them.

Online marketing is anything you do on the internet to put yourself or your business right in front of people to see, or anything you do to grab their attention and hopefully, at some point, get them to buy from you. It include search engine optimization marketing, social media marketing, affiliate marketing, blogging, etc.

Then finally, Learn from other people! Read their contents, watch their videos, subscribe to their email lists, and observe to get inspiration for your own work. But NEVER copy another person’s work!
